Weekly Snow Science Drop 🧪🌍

273 billion tonnes of glacier ice are lost yearly, that’s 30 years of humanity’s water use🧊📉  

But glaciers hold Earth’s memory. Scientists from France, Italy, and Switzerland (backed by Prince Albert II) raced to save melting ice cores, storing them in Antarctica’s -50°C sanctuary for future generations.  

Preserve yesterday’s ice to protect tomorrow’s planet💙
