## Caption

Oil pastels and oil paint sticks look similar, but they have distinct qualities that set them apart. Oil pastels never fully dry and require glass protection when displayed. Oil paint sticks dry like traditional oil paint and can be varnished. Both mediums provide artists with vibrant, blendable colors and the tactile freedom of direct hand application.
