Welcome Christian Russell Canouse! Last night, at exactly 6:08 pm, our handsome rainbow baby was born at a strong 7 lbs 5 oz and 20 inches long. Words can’t describe how incredible yet difficult this experience and the last 15 months have been. 

After losing Stephan last year, our unborn 20 week angel baby, our world was flipped upside down. We struggled to deal with the grief and pain.  As he became our angel baby, sitting up in heaven with my mom and his Grammy (Stephanie Canouse), our only solution was to begin to pray to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  After our prayers were met with Erika becoming pregnant just two months later, we fulfilled our promise back to God, in deciding to name our rainbow baby Christian (“Follower of Christ”).

He now becomes our daily blessing and reminder to ourselves (and hopefully others) that tough times don’t last and prayers are answered. Thank you everyone for your prayers, kind messages, love and support. We are excited to officially introduce to you, our son, Christian!
