@king.comin, the Spanish stalwart whose last name literally translates to “The Fisherman”, scores 6061 points in the heptathlon to assure himself a spot on the line for the @ncaatrackfield championships in two weeks in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Bruno Comin Pescador’s two day marks included a 6.99 in the 60 dash; 23-10/7.26m in the long jump; 45-10.5/13.98m in the shot put; 6-8/2.03m in the high jump on Friday.

He continued Saturday with a 8.11 in the 60 hurdles; 16-0.75/4.90m in the pole vault; and topped it off with a time of 2:37.02 in the 1000 meters.

Except for the shot put, he set personal bests in every event, and won every event (tied for the win in the pole vault).
