One of the most beautiful places to catch a soccer game in the US ⬇️

📍 Boone, NC (Appalachian FC)

Appalachian FC was founded in 2020, when App State University discontinued its men’s soccer program during the pandemic. Head coach Jason O’Keefe and a handful of local business owners banded together to form this incredible NPSL team from scratch. Since then, it’s become a hidden gem in the American soccer landscape, and we had the chance to drive our bus over to a game last year. 

On gamedays you can march through the woods with the supporters on the way down to the stadium, you’ll likely see their Sasquatch mascot roaming the stands, and you’ll be treated to one of the most incredible mountain views while watching this team compete.
