Dear therock ...✉️ it was 2012, it was my first year as a high school teacher.  In West Harlem, I had a student named Felix, and for some reason I was talking about Hawaii and gave my students an assignment about it. To write a letter. I happen to mention that The Rock is Samoan, which was near Hawaii. But really it's not, I was just wrong and a young teacher. It's about at least 2,000 miles away. Anyway, the next day the student turned in this assignment. It was a letter to the Rock about being Hawaiian.
