22.06 mental health check-in 💙 i’ve been reassuring myself that life is always a continuous work in progress. after decompressing from edc weekend, i took the first couple weeks of this month to realign with and take care of my mental health.⁣
⁣
i’m sure many can relate to this feeling, but one of the most stressful things about being an artist is that i’m constantly asking myself, “am i doing enough?” and recently, that’s been a huge internal battle for me. it’s fueled my struggles with battling imposter syndrome and comparing myself to my peers — so much so that it’s begun to leak into my professional and personal lives.⁣
⁣
thankfully, i was reminded of my self-worth last weekend when i was asked by andrewsangha to speak to his industry interns in LA. it was such a gratifying experience to share a glimpse of all that i’ve gone through in the past 4 years, as it reminded me of my roots, how far i’ve come, and how much i have to offer to others. it was a much-needed reminder to recognize where i’m at now, and how far i can go moving forward.⁣
⁣
