We’re proud to share that our experts at MedStar Heart & Vascular Institute are leading the Baltimore region with an emerging treatment called convergent hybrid ablation for long-standing atrial fibrillation (AFib). Combining electrophysiology and cardio-thoracic surgery techniques, doctors can ablate or gently remove the inside (endocardium) and the outside (epicardium) of the heart, minimally invasively, and stop the #AFib.
