#PJWashington is pushing back in his ongoing custody battle with ex-girlfriend #BrittanyRenner. According to UsWeekly, court documents show Washington claims Renner’s legal team threatened to have him served on national TV during an NBA game if he didn’t agree to move their case from North Carolina to California. _____________________________
Washington’s attorneys allege Renner’s lawyer detailed plans to purchase multiple courtside tickets behind the visitor bench for upcoming Mavericks games against the Lakers and Clippers, stating the tactics were “inappropriate and should not be rewarded by this Court.”

In an alleged November 14, 2025, email from Renner’s attorney detailed plans to purchase courtside seats, stating: “I plan on purchasing all eight tickets… to ensure that there are no problems with my process server being able to effectuate service.”_____________________________
The lawyer also warned that he hoped he would not have to “resort” to such measures in order to avoid “the unnecessary and inevitable press coverage Mr. Washington will receive.” Renner’s team argues Washington has ties to California due to NBA games played there, but Washington insists the state “does not have personal jurisdiction” over him.
