“The Amone pop up concept represents and reflects the long journey of understanding my Lao heritage through food. At this point in time, my goal is to create a sequence from the mind of a first generation Lao-American on what will soon be presented on a plate. In recent years, a movement has formed showcasing the beauty of Laos and its rich culinary history alongside a dream to continue this in a concept-form. This concept is in honor of my family and people, but more specifically to my grandmother, Amonerut, who valued community gatherings and hospitality, and showcased a true pride in where she came from.” - Boby

Boby Pradachith is a nationally-recognized Lao-American chef currently based in Seattle, Washington. He is the Chef, Director Director of Operations, and Co-Owner of Thip Khao, Hanumanh, and Padaek and has appeared on Zagat’s National 30 Under 30 list, Eater’s Young Guns list, and Washingtonian Magazine’s The New Wave. 🧡
