What would we do without people like Miss Daisy Spieler? ❤️

In 1942, when Washington, D.C., experienced a blackout, Daisy stayed at her teletype machine to make sure the wires stayed open for other Red Cross workers who were supporting U.S. troops around the world during #WWII.

Her support was critical for Red Crossers to have the ability to connect in the event of an emergency or to share critical information.
