In this edition of #PhenomenallyMe, we had the privilege of speaking to Milena Guevara (@milenaguevara_), a class of 2025 @rutgersartsandsciences student majoring in economics 📈⭐️

Reflecting on the journey her mother took through womanhood before her allowed her to see her true potential.

“I am the person I am today because of my mom. That’s why I’ve set a goal to become the first person in my family to go to law school. It’s my way of thanking her for all the sacrifices she’s made for me and our family.”

Be sure to check back in throughout #WomensHistoryMonth for more student stories! 🗣️
