The Florida Gators rallied in the second half to force overtime against Mississippi State in their SEC Tournament opener. Niels Lane (niels.lane) put in a go-ahead layup with about 12 seconds to go, but Tolu Smith drove the length of the court and put in a layup of his own.

Riley Kugel (riley.kugel) missed a 3 at the buzzer, and the Gators saw their season end.
