Congrats to Thunder Lacrosse Club 2027 Defender Preston Shuster, on his commitment to Denison University! Preston is the 11th commitment in the ’27 Class. Preston is a feisty, high-motor defender who makes hustle plays. Sprinting after a tough ground ball, battling in a scrum, or creating a timely double team, his impact comes from equal parts talent and grit.
Defensively, Preston excels off-ball with constant athletic posture, great posture and awareness, and the ability to hedge and recover back to his man. On-ball, he’s a pest—getting his stick in the hands, staying at the level of the dodge, and making life difficult for ball carriers. 
An aggressive competitor who plays the game the right way—Denison is getting a grinder who brings toughness, effort, and reliability on every shift.
