Weekends are made for riding….and what a weekend it was for @teamspectraracing 🏁

Kicking it off at the final round of the @britishcycling National Circuit Series in Ilkley with @amiramello finishing in 9th, set up by a fantastic ride from @xancrees in 15th, and @abbietaylor38 started strong to finish in the bunch.

Over in Donegal, @chrismcg_94 was charging hard at the Foyle GP on a rolling 125KM course under scorching summer sun, battling cramps and an ominously strong bunch to bag his second consecutive road race victory of the year in the final sprint.

Meanwhile, in deepest mid-Wales the gravel crew took on the inaugural @grinduro. @dan_.barnes stormed onto the podium in pro-men, with a charging @bethcrumpton94 finishing just off the podium in pro-women’s in 4th. @han_lar took an amazing 3rd place in open women in her first gravel race for the team, with @hannahpayton23 in 7th in pro-women. @brucedaltoncx battled through a heavy crash on the final stage while chasing a podium in pro men, but still rolled on to finish 8th.

To wrap off the weekend in style on Sunday it was the turn of junior world champion hopeful, @ben.chilton2003 at the National Cross-Country Champs. Ben dug deep on the hugely technical course, narrowly missing out on the win in a sprint to the line, taking the silver medal and no doubt securing a place on Team GB at the MTB World Champs later this season.
