MomsRising joined the TPS_Alliance, HaitianBridge Alliance, NDLON, Carecen_la, advocates, and partner organizations at the Federal Court of Appeals hearing arguments in a case challenging the termination of Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for nearly one million Haitian and Venezuelan immigrants.

TPS holders are lawfully present immigrants who have been granted federal permission to live and work in the United States, many for decades. They are our family members, neighbors, caregivers, teachers, nurses, and small business owners and taxpayers, people who enrich our communities and strengthen our economy.

By terminating TPS, the Trump administration is revoking legal status, stripping people of their work authorization, and forcing families into fear, instability, and separation. These actions place TPS holders at risk of deportation to countries that remain unsafe, including Haiti and Venezuela, and threaten to tear families apart.

We stand with TPS holders in calling for protection, dignity, and a permanent solution. Our communities are stronger when families are protected, not forced into fear and uncertainty.
