A man posing as a real estate agent and attempting to scam renters is using the stolen identity of a previous victim, according to Scottsdale police.
The scammer, who claims his name is Frederick, has been listing a Scottsdale home for rent that is actually for sale. Arizona’s Family first reported on the scheme last week after a crook tried to shake down a Scottsdale woman for thousands of dollars.
