Today we are highlighting one of our producers @andrew_ftw and his 190E. Before Race Service, Andrew worked in the music industry, where he worked as a tour then artist manager. COVID-19 and a broken leg brought an itch for Andrew to find a new industry. He started his podcast, @whereareallmyfriendspod , and helped RS crew member @rev_sect start @radical.strategies Around this same time, the stars aligned and Andrew realized that Race Service was the place to be.

Through attending Rise and Shine events and befriending the RS team, Andrew started helping at our Formula 1 Drive-In, handing out breakfast burritos. His positive attitude was so infectious he stuck around and has helped lead projects such as the RSRB apparel collection, our videos with @1jessicahawkins in Miami, and hosted the Porsche Unseen panel at SXSW. Every time you receive a package of our thoughtfully created merchandise, you’re benefiting from Andrew’s hard work.

His 1986 Mercedes 190E has become a crowd favorite at RS. With original vintage California plates, his car has lived in CA for its entire life and hasn’t lost any quality. As smooth as the day it was built, the 190E might be slow but it more than makes up for it with character. In fact, Andrew has a specific character in mind - a Euro-spec taxi. With the paint color somewhere between cream, tan, and beige, Euro headlights and wheels, he’s getting pretty close.
