OMG I can confirm the BEST pizza in the Berkshires should DEFINITELY go to Robbie’s Community Market and Roberto’s Pizza!

This New Yorker wasn’t expecting to find the most delicious pizza she’s ever had in Massachusetts, but so be it.

More specifically the Venni Vidi Vici at robbiesmarket413 in Great Barrington and the Hannah Bella at robertospizza413 in Sheffield. Don’t worry, there’s no competition they’re sister restaurants.

But there’s a story that makes it even better. Robbie’s in Great Barrington (located right in downtown) is one of the oldest continuously running stores there. As a lover of history, Robbie has transformed the space while keeping nods to its heritage. He’s been serving insanely inventive (and delicious) sandwiches, salads, donuts, drinks, local offerings, and more there for a while. But with the addition of his pizza oven it’s elevated the restaurant to the next level. I’m not lying when I say I thought about this pizza the entire vacation, and if I’m being honest I haven’t stopped. The sandwiches were equally delicious and the atmosphere is fun, warm, and welcoming. They also just added live music!

Roberto’s of Sheffield has been a staple for years. I can say this because while researching where to go, it was suggested by everyone I asked!

Now expanded to the bar next door - which has THE coolest vibe (I was desperate to sit there but all tables were filled) - Roberto’s Pizza can serve their amazing pies to twice the audience at the same time.

This was THE PERFECT place to stop on our way back to New York after an amazing week skiing. Thanks to counter service it was super fast and the food was beautiful and delicious. We were so excited to bring home a few slices so we could eat it again (and it was even better!).

While my family may say the skiing was their favorite part of this trip to me it was that Venni.

Robbie - we have a date for next December!

In the mean time his sauce is now available for purchase so you can bring a little shelf stable piece of this pizza empire home with you on your next visit.
