Thanks so much themountlenox for having us at Nightwood - your beautiful annual light show!

It was so much fun learning about the house’s history and seeing the gorgeous way you intertwined Edith Wharton’s legacy via light throughout the landscape of the estate.

I looked her up before we visited and she seemed like quite the trailblazer. I was happy to honor her by walking the same paths she enjoyed. 

Our favorite light installation was “The Stream”. Here the lights twisted and turned over the water as you heard the water flow through the stream. The two combined were so peaceful and cool. Inspired by its beauty, my kids actually stopped talking for five minutes to watch. 😆 I’m not sure there’s a better endorsement than that!

If you’re in the Great Barrington, Sheffield, or Lenox, Massachusetts area in December be sure to check out Nightwood next year.
