The story reddit didn't believe! why I DON'T buy tix on Craigslist! This is how I got scammed with fake SummerSlam tickets but I got justice and my money back! HERE'S MY STORY!! r/squaredcircle (reddit) thought my story was fake, so I deleted it and never really thought about it again. I got the receipts now brother! OH YEAH! SCAMMERS ARE NOTHING BUT GARBAGE!!

As you all know, SummerSlam 2016 sold out right away. After browsing StubHub for a few months, I found an ad on Craigslist for 4 Summerslam tickets. It advertised 4 floor seats for 150 each. I couldn't believe it since those seats were going for hundreds a piece, at least. It sounded too good to be true.
Well, IT WAS.
Buying the tickets
So I go to work with $600 cash, 300 of mine, 300 of my coworker's cash. I meet the guy after work. He brings 2 tickets instead of 4. Then he shows me the tickets. Something doesn't look right and I get a bad vibe from him. He barely said a word and has no emotion. Differences between the font (his was wider then Ticketmaster) and color shades seemed off. They looked passable though as hard tickets. I was tired after working 20+ hours of overtime that week and NAIVE because of how excited I was for the tickets! I asked him about the reciept, he said the name was his dad's. When asked why he wasn't going, he shrugged and said "i donno." That was a red flag but against my better judgement I bought 2 tickets.
We agreed to meet for the other 2 tickets. This was to try and bust him if they did end up being fake. I went home and compared these tickets to the Raw at Barclays from December. MAJOR DIFFERENCES. There was no line vertical line next to the bar code, the blue (seat, row, etc) text wasn't as sharp, ticketmaster skinnier font, etc. I was up til 2am researching, trying to locate this guy based on his number. Ticketmaster had no match for the address but couldn't prove otherwise.
I sent 2 more e-mails to his ad rom other addresses. The next morning, he replied saying, "YES, ALL 4 TICKETS ARE STILL AVAILABLE." WTF...more reason to believe I bought fakes... continued
