Ellen became a widow years ago. “I believed my life didn’t have value because I didn’t have a husband. I had four children and no hope. But when I learned God’s Word, all that changed.⁠

I helped start the women’s Bible study in my village. At the time, I couldn’t read. But the more CRI’s international partners shared stories from the Bible, the more I wanted to know. Now, I’m starting to read! I love to dance, so I dance for the Lord! I believe God has called me to be an encouragement to others.”⁠
