COMMITTED FOR 2022 🔥

SKYE LOVETT is back post-ACL injury and ready to rip into 2022! 

WHY I AM BACK IN 2022?
For me playing in 2022 is more than just playing footy. I was forced out of the 2021 season from ruptured ACL, I made a commitment within myself to return to the game. I went through the surgery and rehabilitation process which has drawn on another area of personal growth for me. 

Being able to be back in the squad around my teammates in a playing capacity will demonstrate to myself and others the resilience that we have as humans.
 
WHY I ENJOY THE CLUB?
Wildfires brings people together from different clubs, cultures and states that wouldn’t necessarily come together if it wasn’t for the wildfires. 

Wildfires has shown that it is a fundamental part of a pathway for players to be recognised for higher honours, which was the case for many last season. 

There is a great sense of camaraderie within the Wildfires program which is why I enjoy playing and why I am returning.
