One of the artists helping “Riders on the Storm” reach audiences worldwide through our new collaboration with playing4change is the Red Cloud Drum Group.

The Red Cloud Drum Group is an Oglala Lakota ensemble from the Pine Ridge Reservation, part of the larger Lakota Nation. In Native culture, the drum represents the heartbeat of the Earth and holds deep spiritual and cultural significance.

Their performance marks a full-circle moment supporting the Wicahpi Olowan Music Program... the first Playing For Change Foundation program in the U.S. serving Indigenous youth and communities, in partnership with the Indigenous-led nonprofit First Peoples Fund.
