This weekend, deep inside the Cabeza Prieta National Wildlife Refuge, our all-women humanitarian search team faced something we should never have to face:
an armed Border Patrol agent stalking, tracking, and invading the campsite of unarmed women at 2:00 a.m. 😡🌑

Our crew had all required permits for the refuge. But that didn’t stop Agent Lovlin from tracking our footprints through the dark like a predator.

Border Patrol is trained to read sign:
👣 They know the difference between men and women.
👣 They know trekking-pole tracks vs. migrant footprints.
👣 They know what high-end hiking boots look like.
👣 They know the direction, pace, and origin of every track they follow.

The BP Predator Agent Lovlin knew damn well who he was following.

At 2:00 a.m., he left his vehicle, followed our tracks, and approached our sleeping camp of women. Alone. Armed. In total darkness. 🌑⚠️

He was told repeatedly we were unarmed U.S. citizens with valid permits.
He ignored it.

He entered our campsite, shined lights into sleeping bags, woke every woman, and refused to leave.
He ignored our boundaries, our safety, and our rights.

When confronted, he behaved with aggression and hostility.
According to our team’s video, he even yelled, “Show me your hands!” 

This wasn’t protocol.
This wasn’t confusion.
This wasn’t a “routine check.”

This was a sickening obsession — a predator with a badge stalking unarmed women in the desert darkness. 😡🌵

And when the cameras came out?
Only then did he finally retreat.

Meanwhile, these same volunteers — these same women he intimidated — spent the weekend finding four separate sites of the fallen and missing. They do this work with courage, with dignity, and with love.
They will never quit. 💛🔥

The desert is dangerous enough.
Women searching for the fallen should not have to fear armed men invading their camp at night.

We came to honor the lost.
We came with permits.
We came prepared.
We showed up to bring dignity to those who never received it.

But no one prepared us for a predator with a gun circling us at 2 AM in the middle of the desert.
