44. 😳 That’s how many disasters Nigel Holderby has responded to in the 15 years she’s been supporting the Red Cross. 

Every disaster she responds to impacts her in a different way. When she deployed to Florida to support Hurricane Ian relief efforts, she met a woman in a Red Cross shelter with the same name as her mother — Phyllis. 

Hearing her mom’s name put into perspective how recurring climate-driven disasters like this have no bounds and could impact anyone, at any time, including her mom.
