The final award we are presenting is the "Unsung Hero" Award, named after Madeline Loftus. Loftus was a transfer to the Cardinals in '04, and finished her junior and senior year at Saint Mary's. In 2009, Loftus tragically passed away in a plane crash, along with 49 others.
