## Caption

The Windsor High School girls’ golf team, which makes its home at Pelican Lakes, kicked off the season with an impressive showing at the Northridge Invitational today at Boomerang Golf Links ⛳️

The Wizards, who grabbed fourth place during last year’s Class 4A state tournament, finished runner-up in the 12-team event with a three-person score of 269 (53-over). Berthoud won the event with a score of 248 (32-over). 

Windsor sophomore Macy Kleve paced the team with an 80 (8-over) to place third out of 49 players. Behind her was junior Allison Sanger with a 93 (21-over) to tie for 10th and senior Mary D’Ovidio and junior Alexa Strohman tied for 14th each with a 96. 

Four junior varsity players also participated in the event with sophomore Abbie Winterbottom leading the way with a 92. Following her was sophomore Samantha Wilcox at 101, sophomore Kylie Farris at 102 and freshman Ruth Stephens at 111. 

Windsor is idle until after spring break when it participates in the Erie Cocoa Classic at Thorncreek on March 28!
