Photographer Friday 📸
This weeks feature is Dave Williamson, who primarily shoots for the Atlanta United of the MLS. Here’s what he had to say about his experience in photography:

On getting into photography in general and specifically footy photography Dave said “I got my start with photography in high school yearbook class. I always enjoyed having a camera in my hand. Photographing soccer just came naturally. I have played through high school and have continued playing as an adult.” He continues with his connection to the sport saying “I’ve been a player, coach, and fan. I have also coached a couple of my kid's teams and continued coaching as a community coach for a high school in Georgia.  My grandmother started taking me to games when I was 7. Going to see the Atlanta Chiefs play was my reward for doing well in school.  That was my first experience as a fan. Through those experiences, it made the transition to photo very simple.”
On his best memory of his journey so far, he says “I would have to say the most memorable experience so far and by far the most fun would be photographing MLS cup when Atlanta United won in 2018. I would’ve never imagined photographing an MLS cup in my home city. “
