"Football to me has always been a sense of family. My earliest memories of football are my grandmother taking me to the Atlanta Chiefs games when that was the only football available in Atlanta. It’s sparked a passion in me that has continued until this day. I began playing around the age of seven and quickly found out goalkeeper was the position I enjoyed the most. I continued to play through high school and in Sunday leagues as I got older. I have since made the transition to coaching and photographing football as much as I possibly can. Coaching has enabled me to share my passion for the game with the next generation of players. I’ve had the opportunity to coach both of my children’s teams as well as high school and middle school football around the Atlanta area. One of my favorite memories from coaching is working as a volunteer coach with @SoccerStreets. This is an organization in Atlanta that helps underprivileged kids as well as refugees from around the world. Working with the group of people at this organization has only intensified my love of the game. The friendships I have made playing and coaching are ones that will last a lifetime. The opportunity to photograph football has given me the chance to meet some incredible people, players and most of all other photographers along the way and show just how beautiful the game is from a perspective most people do not see. In December 2018, being able to photograph Atlanta United playing for the MLS Cup in front of 73,000 people was a dream come true. I want to thank @ClubEleven for the opportunity they continue to give me to pursue my passion.
