I always get a little nervous before flying alone with the girls. Dorian was on a work trip to Arizona and would meet us in San Diego. Amara, my youngest dislikes the stroller and will take off running, that scared me the most.

Days before, I prepped mentally, planned it out in my head, and made sure to travel light. I also prepped the girls days in advance telling them it would just be us 3 traveling on the plane and they would both need to stay in the stroller the whole time until we got to the plane. They understood the assignment and did soooo well! Even on the plane they were pretty chill🙌kids understand everything, it amazes me. 

I always feel so empowered and confident after these experiences and I can tell they learn so much too!

Siempre me pongo un poquito nerviosa antes de volar sola con las niñas. Dorian estaba en un viaje de trabajo a Arizona y nos encontraría en San Diego. Amara, la más chiquita, no le gusta el carrito y sale corriendo, y eso era lo que más me daba miedo.

Días antes me preparé mentalmente, lo planeé todo en mi cabeza y me aseguré de viajar ligero. También preparé a las niñas con anticipación, explicándoles que solo viajaríamos nosotras tres en el avión y que las dos tenían que quedarse en el carrito todo el tiempo hasta llegar al avión. Entendieron perfectamente la misión y ¡lo hicieron increíble! Incluso en el avión estuvieron bastante tranquilas 🙌 Los niños entienden todo, de verdad me sorprende.

Después de estas experiencias siempre me siento tan empoderada y segura, y también puedo notar cuánto aprenden ellas 💛
