The most important job on the internet in the coming years? human curators This to me is the most obvious opportunity to build your own music company/platform. We don’t need more A&R’s or DJ’s. We need people curating music, artists, and events. I’ve been building a music discovery platform @putyouon.club since 2021 and I was convinced then- and even more-so now: Curators are the new radio hosts, YouTube channels, and media personalities. Music and content are about to be affected by AI in a very measurable way, and as people speak more on the “dead internet theory” it becomes clear that humans curating and organizing content in the internet is going to be a massive value for society and select industries. Get used to the term “human friction”, as this will become a premium feature across the internet in the coming years. If you’re interested in starting your own eco system, I’ve built one and am releasing a version 2 of my music curator guide which shows you how and why to build a music curation business in 2026. And anyone who loves can.
