hear some wise words from a graduating senior, Emmy Iannone:

 Dear Potential New Members, 

Congratulations on your acceptance to UF and your decision to participate in the formal recruitment process! You are about to begin the most incredible experience that will shape your time here at UF. 

As I reflect on my four years at UF, I can confidently say that becoming a member of the Panhellenic community is the best decision I could have made for myself. I ran home to Kappa Delta in the Fall of my freshman year, and since that day, I have learned that this is a place where authenticity and passion are embraced. I have been encouraged, challenged, and mentored to be the best version of myself and have also been lifted up, supported, and embraced at my worst. This place is filled with people who are individually unique, yet together they so powerfully represent the shared values of our sisterhood. Being a Kappa Delta has reminded me every single day over the last four years that I am both fully known and fully loved.  

To each PNM, I am so excited for you. My sincerest wish is that you too will enjoy the gifts of sisterhood as wonderful as this. To the women in my chapter, I wouldn’t be me without you all. And to my best friends in the world, if you see this, I could sit on the couches in the Florida room with you all every day for the rest of our lives and still wish we had more time together.
