Searching for Easter ideas to plan your menu? #ad I got you covered here. I’m keeping it easy this #easter with #mainstbistro and spending quality time with my family. The restaurant quality taste of their baked macaroni and cheese pairs perfectly with my roasted orange-rosemary Cornish hens. When I’m picking up my Cornish hens from the meat department of the grocery store, I can pick up a main_st_bistro side in the refrigerated section. I feel good about serving this to my family because it is made with trusted ingredients free of artificial colors or flavors. The best part is it's ready in minutes allowing me to create lasting memories with my loved ones and this holiday meal. Click the link in my bio to find a location near you! Enjoy my recipe! Recipe
Servings 6
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 1 hour and 30 minutes
Ingredients:
3 Cornish hens (1.5 lb each)
1 tbsp salt ½ tsp black pepper
¼ cup orange juice
2 oranges sliced
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tbsp Honey
¼ cup olive oil
2-3 sprigs fresh rosemary
2 packages of Baked macaroni and Cheese main_st_bistro

Cooking Instructions:
Preheat the oven at 400 F degrees.
Pat dry the Cornish hens and season well with salt and black pepper.
In a bowl combine the olive oil, orange juice, honey, and Dijon mustard.
In a baking dish make a bed with sliced oranges and fresh rosemary.
Place the Cornish hens over the oranges.
Pour the marinade over the Cornish hens. Make sure the hens are coated well with the marinade.
Roast the Cornish hens for 10-15 minutes on high heat then lower the temperature to 350F degrees for another hour or until they reach the interior temperature at 165F degrees.
If they are turning a little too brown, cover with aluminum foil during baking.
Let them rest for 10-15 minutes and serve.
In the meantime, place the trays of baked macaroni and cheese in a baking dish and heat in the oven as per package instructions.
Serve with roasted Cornish hens and other side dishes.
Enjoy!
