The Boys 800m Invitational at the Meet of Champions Distance Classic produced some blistering quick results 😳

Xai Ricks of Long Beach Poly dropped a new US #1 time of 1:49.19 to surge past NXN Champion Aaron Sahlman, who finished in 1:50.86. 

Prior to Saturday’s big race, Xai Rick’s PB was 1:53.91 from March 18th at the Laguna Beach Trophy Invitation. That’s a 4 second improvement in just a week! And Ricks is just a junior 👀 

This stacked race featured six runners under 1:52 🤯
