Sometimes we’re just locked in. Whether it’s work, a hobby or the most mundane tasks, we become focused on the task at hand.

For Sadikshya Bhandari, it’s her work as a scientist in a research lab, surrounded by only a select few people and separated from phones, computers and many other things that can be distracting.

However, when she’s not looking under the microscope during the workday, she’s locked in on discussing manchesterunited with the thousands of Twitter followers she’s gained over the years.

Originally from Nepal, a small Asian nation known for its proximity to Mount Everest, Sadikshya saw the club’s early success under Sir Alex Ferguson. The tipping point was David Beckham’s growing influence on the continent, making her a massive fan and soon a witness to the 1999 treble-winning season, her favorite moment.

In the mid-2000s, she moved to the United States for her undergraduate studies, bringing along a Red Devils and Premier League fandom that was uncommon compared to today.

When Ferguson retired at the end of the 2012-13 season and the club’s dominance was fading, she became more passionate about the club’s strategy, amplifying her voice through Twitter and contributing to Full Time Devils, a Man United YouTube fan channel.

Club form, rumors and transfers became daily topics and the feedback she received quickly grew out from the borders of Maryland, where she resides now.

A representative of her home country and a female voice, Sadi speaks with others from countries all around the world about her beloved club and wouldn’t have it any other way.

“The club is a part of my identity and I hope it continues to stay that way because I don’t plan on changing anything. I follow this club under a microscope, analyzing every little thing they do... but that shouldn't surprise anyone."
