MOW West is proud to serve the bravest among us; 21% of our clients are veterans and their spouses. Continuing with #MentalIllnessAwarenessWeek, we want to take a look at the challenges that many veterans face upon returning home. Mental illness can affect even the strongest in the form of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression, and the effects of traumatic brain injuries (TBI). In addition to our cost-free meals for veterans and their spouses, we also provide referrals to the UCLA/VA Veteran Family Wellbeing Center for a wide range of wellness services. #miaw
