🇪🇺 The EU welcomes the #G20 Declaration on Culture, adopted today under the chairmanship of South Africa, the first African country to hold a G20 Presidency. 🇿🇦

Culture is what connects us: our stories, our creativity, our heritage.

We are proud to stand with our global partners to:
🎭 Protect and restore cultural heritage
💡 Support artists and creative industries in the digital age
🌱 Link culture with social and economic progress
🌾 Preserve traditional and indigenous knowledge

Culture plays a vital role in building more inclusive societies, fostering dialogue and sustaining peace, both locally and internationally.
