## Caption

These Sugar Cookie Rice Krispie Treats are a fun and easy Christmas treat to make with kids! They’re soft, chewy, packed with sugar-cookie flavor, and so festive for the holiday season. 

Ingredients
	•	5 ½ cups Rice Krispies cereal
	•	1 stick (½ cup) unsalted butter
	•	1 bag mini marshmallows (about 10 oz)
	•	½ tsp vanilla extract
	•	¼ tsp almond extract
	•	pinch of salt
	•	½ cup white chocolate chips (mixed in)
	•	⅓ cup white chocolate chips (melted for drizzling)
	•	Christmas sprinkles
	•	Holiday cookie cutters (snowman, snowflake, Christmas tree)
	•	Parchment paper

Instructions
	1.	Line your counter with parchment paper. Melt 1 stick of butter in a large pot over medium heat, then add the mini marshmallows and stir until melted and smooth.
	2.	Reduce heat to low and stir in the vanilla, almond extract, salt, and ½ cup white chocolate chips until softened. Remove from heat and mix in the Rice Krispies until fully coated.
	3.	Transfer mixture onto parchment, lightly grease your hands or a spatula, and press into an even sheet (not too thick). Let cool for 5–10 minutes.
	4.	Use your snowman, snowflake, and Christmas tree stencils or cutters to press out 12–14 shapes.
	5.	Melt ⅓ cup white chocolate chips in 20–30 second intervals, drizzle over each shape, and top with Christmas sprinkles.
	6.	Shape leftover mixture into small balls if desired, drizzle with chocolate, add sprinkles, and let everything set for 20–30 minutes.

Store Rice Krispie treats in an airtight container at room temperature for 2–3 days. Separate layers with parchment paper to prevent sticking. Keep at room temp for soft, chewy treats.
