This Sticky Apricot-Glazed Spiral Ham is a crowd-pleasing choice for Christmas dinner and holiday hosting. Made with apricot preserves, brown sugar, Dijon, and butter, this glazed ham is juicy, glossy, and perfectly caramelized.

Ingredients

For the ham
	•	1 (10.5 lb) bone-in spiral-cut ham
	•	1–1½ cups chicken or vegetable broth (for the roasting pan)

Sticky apricot glaze
	•	13 oz apricot preserves
	•	½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
	•	⅓ cup brown sugar
	•	2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
	•	⅓ cup pineapple juice
	•	½ teaspoon black pepper
	•	1 teaspoon garlic powder
	•	¼ teaspoon ground allspice

No salt needed — the ham is already seasoned.

Instructions
	1.	Preheat the oven to 325°F.
	2.	Remove the ham from its packaging and discard the seasoning packet. Place the ham cut side down in a roasting pan. Pour 1–1½ cups broth into the bottom of the pan, making sure the liquid does not touch the ham.
	3.	In a saucepan over medium-low heat, combine the apricot preserves, butter, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, pineapple juice, black pepper, garlic powder, and allspice. Simmer for 8–10 minutes, stirring often, until the glaze has thickened and coats the back of a spoon.
	4.	Brush about half of the glaze all over the ham, making sure to get it between the spiral slices.
	5.	Loosely tent the ham with foil. Bake at 325°F for 10–12 minutes per pound, or until the internal temperature reaches 140°F.
For a 10.5-lb ham, this is about 1 hour 45 minutes to 2 hours total.
	6.	During the last 30 minutes of cooking, remove the foil and continue baking uncovered, basting the ham with the remaining glaze every 10 minutes.
	7.	For a sticky, caramelized finish, broil the ham for 3–4 minutes, watching closely so the glaze does not burn.
	8.	Remove the ham from the oven and let it rest 10–15 minutes before serving.
