## Caption

This Ground Beef Stir Fry is an easy, weeknight dinner made with lean ground beef, bell peppers, broccoli, onion, and a simple homemade stir fry sauce. Serve it over rice for a quick, flavorful meal the whole family will love.

Ingredients
	•	1 lb lean ground beef
	•	2 small bell peppers (red & yellow), thinly sliced
	•	2 cups broccoli florets
	•	½ medium yellow onion, thinly sliced
	•	2–3 green onions (whites thinly sliced, greens cut about 1-inch)
	•	1 tbsp oil
	•	3 garlic cloves, grated
	•	1 tsp fresh grated ginger
	•	⅓ cup low sodium soy sauce
	•	¼ cup brown sugar
	•	¾ cup water
	•	½ tbsp cornstarch
	•	½ tsp salt + ¼ tsp black pepper (for veggies)
	•	½ tsp salt + ¼ tsp black pepper (for beef)
	•	Cooked rice, for serving

Instructions 
	1.	Heat 1 tbsp oil in a skillet. Add sliced bell peppers and onion. Sauté 5 minutes. Add broccoli, ½ tsp salt + ¼ tsp black pepper, and sauté another 5 minutes. Remove to a plate.
	2.	Add ground beef to the same pan. Let it sear a couple minutes each side, then break it up. Season with ½ tsp salt + ¼ tsp black pepper.
	3.	Add the white parts of the green onion, ginger, and garlic. Cook until beef is fully browned.
	4.	Return the veggies and green onion greens to the pan.
	5.	In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, water, and cornstarch until smooth. Pour into the pan.
	6.	Stir and cook on medium heat until the sauce thickens and coats the beef and vegetables.
	7.	Serve your ground beef stir fry over rice and garnish with extra green onions.
