Too often, BIPOC youth and adults experience mental health problems at a disproportionate rate compared to white youth and adults. This is due to a number of factors- trauma from racism, immigration, acculturation, lack of representation in school and workplaces, misdiagnoses by healthcare providers, the list goes on. This month, we'll be uplifting ways our comunidad can take care of ourselves, and ways in which we're impacted mental-health wise by the systems designed to oppress us. Con demasiada frecuencia, los jóvenes y adultos de color experimentan problemas de salud mental a un ritmo desproporcionado en comparación con los jóvenes y adultos blancos.
