Video by bertiegregory and danbeecham | We discovered that underneath the extraordinary whale gatherings in the Antarctic were thousands of marbled rock cod (a rarely seen fish that lives near the seabed). We saw these a thousand feet (300 m) off the bottom, near the water’s surface, catching krill just like the whales.
