Long before “fake news,” activist and philanthropist Marion Stokes was archiving TV news. From the hostage crisis in 1979 to the Sandy Hook massacre in 2012, Marion caught it all. 
Her archive, comprising 70,000 VHS tapes, tells us who we were and how we got where we are today.
