I remember being in my mid 20s sitting at the endocrinologists office telling them all of my symptoms I was having including not understanding how I gained so much weight and all of them telling me nothing was wrong with me

It didn’t make sense to me at all

I spent the next several years basically trying to address each symptom separately

> Weight gain
> Insomnia
> Mood swings
> Anxiety
> Increased urination
> Inconsistent or non existent periods

I had originally lost the bulk of the weight on my own but then it’s like my body stalled and gave up

I still knew something hormonally wasn’t right

I am so thankful I started speaking up about it and was referred to revitalifewellnesscenter

Dr. Robbins and her team really listened to my issues and did the right blood work to find out that I had insulin resistant PCOS

Mind you, when I asked my OB about it, she wouldn’t run the tests but she was quick to throw me on Metformin without any testing

Not happening

I am finally feeling more normal and with the help of the right diet, medicine and work outs, the weight is coming off again

While there is no cure for PCOS there are ways to manage it and possibly even reverse it
