My friend sent me this photo on the left today. It’s from her daughters birthday party a few years ago

It got me thinking how much I used to try to hide myself in photos

Hide what I was ashamed of, my weight

The sad thing is I wasn’t in the right head space to do anything about it then

I’ve been doing a lot of thinking lately, when you have an illness and spend a lot of time at home it’s sort of forced on you

I am so upset with the universe for allowing this neuro condition to happen to me

It has made me depressed, anxious, angry, its debilitating, I am in pain, I cry every day asking why this is happening, I do everything I’m told by that doctors but there is no quick fix, it will take time

For years I took my health for granted. I didn’t do everything I could earlier in life to be healthy. I promise I will never do that again

Everyone I’ve talked to that has had this condition assures me with the medicine and continued weight loss, relief is in sight

I don’t ever ask for this because I am not a religious person, but I need your prayers to help me get through this

I’ve worked so hard mentally, physically and emotionally to get to a good place. This will NOT be the thing that messes it up

The comeback story is always stronger than the setback
