I keep getting asked what my turning moment was that launched my whole weight loss journey

While there was one specific moment that changed it all, it was a long time coming

I spent many hours in a therapists office (yes I am publicly admitting this) asking for help to understand why I struggled so bad at staying consistent to get healthy

The sad thing is I never really understood why and I still struggle to this day

You have to search deep inside to understand what it is that you truly want

I want to be happy, I want to be healthy, I want to not be restricted from doing certain things because of my weight

But most of all, I just want to be the real me

I realized pretty early on in my #weightlossjourney that the 350+ lb version of myself I had sadly become was NOT the real me

While I say this often, I’m not where I want to be yet, I know I’m 100 steps closer than I ever was

If you are on the fence about your health or are worries about the pain and struggles, I’m here to tell you THAT IT IS ALL WORTH IT
