I get asked often what my motivating factor was to want to start the weight loss

Sadly it took words from a man I was dating which hurt my feelings that finally pushed me in the right direction

It wasn’t about him though. It was about how he said it, how it made me feel and how I thought others saw me

I looked in the mirror every day but did I really SEE the person I was?

No, I did not

If I did I would have never gotten to the size I did. I think denial sets in and it’s a normal way of life

Or you just make excuses

And we all saw where those excuses got me

I’m thankful I found my way, my fire, my drive & my motivation

And most of all an INCREDIBLE support system
