Do you know the importance of self care?

For years I didn’t go on vacations, get massages, facials, nothing

I never took the time to truly appreciate how important the healing process was until I started working out a lot and putting tons of stress on my body

I struggle with sciatica, tendinitis in my ankles and a bum left shoulder stemming from birth. These are ailments that I deal with every single day but I won’t let it stop me

Today I enjoyed a long and extremely relaxing massage as well as a microdermabrasion facial

My whole body feels so much better and I feel recharged and ready to take on work and fitness tomorrow!

I understand that it is a luxury that a lot of people choose not to partake in (myself included for years) but I learned that when I’m not taking care of myself regularly I spend more time taking breaks from working out and spend more time than necessary in pain

Take the time to listen to your body and just heal 🙏🏼
