When you have spent a lot of your adult life overweight the phrase “I can’t” is used often

It’s not that I can’t it’s that I didn’t want to try anything that would make me feel uncomfortable or even more so embarrass myself

I remember many new “firsts” for me

The first time I got on a rower at @orangetheory I legit was like NOPE I can’t do this, I’m too fat, I need to loose weight and come back and do it. Fast forward a year - I can row pretty damn well now. Even beat some of my own records!

So let’s take the #assaultbike for instance. This bike is not for the faint of heart. It makes your heart rate increase extremely aggressively in a very short amount of time

The only people I’ve ever seen on one were slender and fit so what was my fat ass going to be doing on there?! Lmao

But you know what? I got up and dominated. Even got my heart rate up to the 100% mark on the @myzonemoves heart rate monitor which HAS NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE

Anyways I am pretty damn excited!
